Viewed a movie: Farewell to language

The ladies and I recently saw an extraordinary movie on Netflix, called Farewell to Language.

The producer, Jean-Luc Godard, is well known in French New Wave film, and his latest effort is regarded as another victory.

It’s an experimental film in two parts, each telling a similar story but in a different way.Iit follows a married woman who has an affair, and her husband, who finds out and eliminates her lover. There’s also a dog, who is critical to the plot.

Goodbye to Language, which Godard calls a “3D essay,” premiered at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and won Best Picture at the 2014 National Society of Film Critics Awards.
